trying to click an object
#1
I have this icon in a window that when I move my mouse over it it changes shape. and then when I left click on it opens another window.
Ok.. so this command works:

lef 100 100 "window title"

but I cant use it because I need to repeatedly open that window and I need my mouse free to do other stuff.

but 123 "window title" or
but+ 123 "window title" dont work either, dont know why

could you please show me another way to open that window.
something that will work even when "window title" is minimized

thanks a bunch

You can use the "Controls, menus" dialog. It inserts the command slightly differently. If it is not a button, try accessible object functions (dialogs also available).
#3
yeah I tryed entering the commands like that too.. dont seem to work...

dont know what you meen by dialogs. sorry.

thanks,nate

i think you can click and drag that icon over to the qm editor window.
this will create a "run "blahblahblahblah.blah"" line.
you can have it run that at anytime without involving your mouse.
#5
its not really an icon.. its more like a button in a window. that draging thing doesnt work. thanks anyway

try this.
  • click on the "Accessible Object Actions" rather than the "Window Actions"
drag that reticle to the button
it'll "click" that button w/o using the mouse even if minimized
#7
that doesnt work either. its a wierd button.. but or but+ commands just dont work on it
#8
would it be an html object? sometimes people build programs and use the explorer shell while making it look different.

try "HTML element actions" option in there and see.
