Get the handle or id of any control
#1
I am unable to use any of quick macros wizard function or even the ctrl-shift-alt-w key to get the handles of CONTROLS (i am able to find handles of windows by quick macros but not of controls)

A lot of my macros are dependent on getting handles of controls. help needed.

if I have to make a new macro in qm for getting these handles - like press the hotkey for the getcontrol handle macro, then on clicking the control present in any application, shows me the handle, I would like the code to make that macro.

or if it is simpler then guide please for that too.

thanks.

A control is a child window in a window. But many objects in windows are not controls. For example, objects in web pages are not controls. But they often are accessible objects. Use dialogs "Find accessible object" and "Accessible object actions".
