EXE file active to sense a mouse input on another software
#1
Hi Friends,

I need to create a macro which is to be converted to an .exe and distributed to my colleagues.

This executable should be active all the time listening for a particular mouse input.
That is, when a particular button of a proprietary software is clicked, the macro needs to activate the rest of the automation commands like opening an excel file and updating its details and closing it.

Kindly advise how do I go about it.

Thanks,
Philip
Best Regards,
Philip

Collected QM apps, functions, samples
Download Archive.qml and import this folder from it: \Samples - other\mouse triggers using LL hooks.

Can the exe process eat the mouse clicks or the key-presses?

Yes. QM uses these hooks for triggers.
