PNG Layers

So PNG files can contain multiple layers. Any idea how to enumerate all of the different layers of these files and save each one as it's own file?

For image manipulation with QM over the years I have used Irfanview, gFlAx, and GDI+

I don't know if one of the tools above would work or if maybe there is another library out there that could do this.
