Quick macros simply doesn't work in some games?
#1
In the recent release of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas I've been trying to use quick macros to get by a little of the 'button mashing' crap like training.

Anyways, GTA seems to be blocking all input external to itsself..
That is, quick macros is unable to send mouse clicks or key presses..
However, it is able to MOVE the mouse.

Is there something I could try besides the basics?
I am a newbie with QM2 but my scripts work fine outside of GTA, they just won't work inside GTA at all.

You can try accessible objects. Use the Find Accessible Object dialog to capture objects that you wan to click. If you can capture the objects, then use the Accessible Object dialog, Do Default Action action. But I don't promise that the game contains objects that you can capture, or that DoDefaultAction will work, or that it will be fast enough.

I'll give that a try but I doubt it will work =(
What I want to do is hit shift then ctrl, and repeat that very fast.
I've tried a ton of different macro progs, QM2 seems to be the best, but none of the are able to press keys or click the mouse =(
(In a pinch I could bind the ctrl/shift to mouse buttons, but since it can't click that would do no good)

Anyone else have any suggestions?

You know, I've been working with messaging inside of Halo PC and found that the macros were going off so fast that the game didn't see them.

I put in "spe 200" in front and my messaging has been flawless to this point.
