Macro's command line to an .exe file
#1
I am wondering whether a macro command line could be stored in an .exe file, instead of a shortcut file, as actually it is being done through the macro's Properties-Triggers-External Triggers (Command Line). There exist applications (for example PS Hot Folders) which do not recognise this kind of shortcut, but they need an .exe file which it should actually execute what the command line implies (ie "c:\program files\quick macros 2\qmcl.exe" M "temp1"). I have succeeded building such an .exe file using a Fortran Compiler, it works, but it is not that elegant. Let me mention that converting the macro to .exe is not useful, inasmuch as there exist several restrictions. Any advice much appreciated.

What if you craete exe in QM and use it as shortcut? Too big file size?

run "qmcl.exe" "M ''xxx''"
