Shutdown bug?
#1
I have a macro called SD_Computer.

Code:
Copy      Help
shutdown 3 0 "" 30 "QM Shutdown Action"

When I try and run it, I get the error message:
Error (RT) in SD_Computer: invalid argument value

There is no indication of which value is invalid.

According the the help info, the 0 flag can be used with the 3 action, but it appears otherwise...

Many thanks for the help!

If you use computer, wait or message, then action must be 1 or 2. QM internally calls different Windows API function, which supports only shutdown and restart. Don't know does it always turn off power. Maybe depends on hardware or OS.

On Windows 2k machine, the Shutdown Windows action just brings me to "it's now safe to turn off the computer".

My solution will be to create a dialog on a timer prior to the shutdown and power off action.

Thanks for the feedback.
