Successfully recording a series of events?
#1
I have attempted to record a series of mouse clicks, waits, and keyboard events, however the only events actually recorded when simulating this 'macro' i would like to record, is the keyboard events.

I cannot for whatever reason, get QM to record my mouse click events. I understand I will possibly need to add 'wait' events to the macros, but I at least expected the mouse events to be recorded. Can anyone assist me? QM led me to believe it could record the mouse events, and it is not doing so. I am sure I am just missing something minor. ANy help is greatly appreciated.

Edit: I want it to record my mouse clicks no matter where i click on the screen, no matter what program is up. Its not doing that... what ar ethe settings to do so?

Possible reasons:

1. In 'QM recording' dialog, 'Mouse' is unchecked.
2. Quick Macros is unregistered, and the evaluation period is expired. Then macros also don't run.
3. Quick Macros runs in safe mode. Then macros also don't run.
4. Something disables QM mouse hooks. Then mouse triggers also don't work, and also there is no mouse-related info in the status bar.
