Easy Way to Make File shortcut?

Hi,
I use QM to drive a powerpoint creation app automatically. The resultant files are quite large. I would like to save a copy in one folder (which I already do by QM driving the apps save function. However, I would like to save a shortcut to this file in a separate folder. There is no clear way within the app. Is there a quick way to do so in quickmacros?
