Run in the background? .... very important, pls help

Generally, it is possible, but not always, and not so easy. Avoid keyboard and mouse commands. Instead, use menus, controls and/or accessible objects (use dialogs from "windows, controls, menus" menu in the floating toolbar). Even then some commands may not work in the background, or they may activate that window.
