Save Excel Sheet as WebPage
#1
Hi All,
I have been using book.save in my Excel work with QM but I want to display the excel spreadsheet in a Toolbar Browser. There is the option of Save as Web Page in excel but I don't know how to do it without opening up Excel. I am hoping there is a function like book.save which does it in the background.

When you open up Excel and use the Save as Web Page option, it offers the option of "Interactivity". This is good in that you can sort columns alphabetically on the htm display (even in the Toolbar Browser). But it also allows the user to edit the fields, which prompts the question "do youo want to save" when you try to close the htm page.

So does anyone know a better way of displaying an excel spreadsheet as just a sortable "view-page" i.e. non-editable but still sortable.

Thanks,
Stuart
